Transport update
As in previous years, Year 6 in catchment children must apply to the county council for a pass 鈥� it will not be issued automatically.
Applications are now open and should be made as soon as possible.

The parents of all out-of-catchment students will be contacted separately about alternative paid-for bus options.
Uniform – Fitting Events & Pre-Loved Sale
There will be fitting sessions held by both our uniform suppliers a the beginning of July.聽 These events give you and your child the opportunity of checking what sizes they need and placing your orders directly with them.聽 The dates of these events are as follows:
Monday 6th July – PMG Schoolwear in The Performance Hall from 4-7pm
Wednesday 8th July – Schoolyard in The Performance Hall from 4-7pm
We are also holding a Pre-Loved Uniform” sale on Tuesday 7th July in The Performance Hall from 5-6.30pm, which is open to families of pupils in the whole school, and gives the opportunity to purchase items at a very low cost.聽 Please note that items purchased at the pre-loved sales cannot be returned if they don’t fit.
There is no requirement to book to attend these events
Schedule of communication to parents of students starting Year 7 in September
- 惭补谤肠丑听– offers sent out to parents. Please accept or decline offers as soon as possible. Once a place has been accepted, we will register your email address on our email application called CombertonPost.聽 All information and forms that need to be completed will be sent out from this. Reallocation of places rejected at this stage will hopefully be made by the end of March.
- Second round offers are sent out by the end of April.
- Information Pack, Registration Form, Medical Form will be sent out in May.
- May聽– Modern Foreign Language (MFL) choices; music lesson applications; Free School Meals (FSM) application forms
- June聽– Transition Programme; bus pass application reminder; information on uniform sales. SENCo letters for relevant pupils.
- End of June聽– Transition Day information
- July聽– Tutor groupings
- August聽– information sent to students offered places from Appeal process; finance information, how to pay for school catering, bus passes (where applicable) and lockers; Induction Day and Start of School Day info.
